So for the Heresy Online Army Painting Challenge, I've decided to go for a Soul Drinkers army, so I thought I'd post my work here as well:

There'll normally be a link to the related blog post for each post - because that's how I roll - where there'll be more pictures, information etc. Anyway, that's enough text for now: onto the WIP pictures:

I'll be putting links to each finished unit here, or the latest WIP for that unit, so that I can keep the thread more organised.

Hey, looking good, I like the dull metal effect on the weapons. Are you planning on doing any conversions such as Sarpedon?

Thanks, although I haven't started painting the weapons yet (is the previous colour showing through under the basecoat)

I do plan on making Sarpedon - both with Spider legs and without (Daemon Prince/Tigirious), I think I'm going to make Tellos in 2/3 months - although whether I actually do I'm not sure on yet, I really want to though.

I have painted all the purple on task force Flamma. (Latin words for all the names - go Google Translate :lol:

)

And they're done, with lots of blood to show they've been converted to Khorne (but only on the side facing forwards to show their fearless/berserk/reckless nature), the gold is a bit messy (used the wrong brush) but other than that I'm happy with them - I will try and update the photos when I have decent batteries, they make it impossible to get a good picture:

Hey Chris, glad to see you're making progress with these guys. I really like the second unit, I can see you've done quite a bit of converting, I don't know much about the Soul Drinkers background, so I'm not sure how their force is based e.g, heavy siege based like Iron Warriors, or lots of fast units like Blood Angels.

Looking forward to seeing whatever you do next though.
