Great entries by all...MacGothmog's Halbarad got my vote, truly exceptional work on that one in particular. There were several others that are deserving as well - you should all be proud |

Another good standard, getting difficult to choose these days. I've gone for MMS Aragorn for the sheer quality of painting. There is some lovely contrast in this piece with an accurate zenithal light approach. Use of warm and cold colours extenuates this. The leatherwork has been done exceptionally. An all round excellent piece that is harder to produce than many would believe, hats off to you Chris. |

I voted for Aragorn as in my opinion its really hard to make Aragorn look good in his ranger garb, and I think that one was exceptionally well done. |

I love these challenges as they inspire me to start painting again so I can participate more. I had to vote for YorkShire's Faramir as this to me shows a sense of realism; especially the base. This is something that I myself work to achieve on all of my models. Well done, YorkShire! And I want to tell all the participants that they have done a stellar job on each model! I hope to be able to join the ranks again! |

And quite rightly so - I couldn't make my mind up either, and it's nice to see the community as a whole reacts just the same. (But only nice because I'm not involved, it can be quite the rollercoaster of emotions!) |

Wow, what a tight fought battle that went down to the wire. Congrats to MacG on the win! I myself voted for MMS, as I really love a well done dark and gritty Aragorn. Congrats on all who entered, those who got only one vote still get a point for the over-all standings, which is cool! |

yey! Wow, this was tough! Thanks for the votes everyone, those late votes made all the difference. To be honest, I though DMS had a pretty good shot to win this month with his entry, its a really nice mini, nice paintjob and base work. Really good stuff overall. See you all next time!
