0-->50-->250-->500-->1000-->2500-->7500 But quality counts for much more than quantity. This will all change when the Gold Coin System is reintroduced. Then the ranks will go back to being earned with the coins. |

Basically, each account started off with 2 (?), these can be used to purchase equipment (which varied depending on which race you chose) in a sequence, e.g. rucksack, knife, sword, with each successive purchase costing more coins. These would be displayed when people viewed your profile. Alternatively, they could be 'gifted' to other members if you were particularly helped/impressed by them, for example.

does faction affect what rank you hold, I am Rohan, I notice a lot of people are loremaster rank I presume that means the are elves? |

In your User Control Panel (top right of banner), go to Profile and under the Edit Profile option you will have realm at the bottom. I am enlisted to Moria, but I am still an Elven Warrior rank, so it's not linked. |
