Post subject:  The One Ring Master Craftsman Award - Sept 2008 theme
The new theme for the September 2008 'Master Craftsman' Themed Challenge is

[center]MAGIC[/center]

This one word can conjure up (pun intended Dorth) many potential avenues to explore in Middle Earth. Magic exists with more than the Istari, what about Tom Bombadil, The Witch King, Elves, Harry Potter (whoops wrong books and films) the Great Eye himself or perhaps a simple plain golden ring.

Good Luck in the Themed Challenge ... let's have some magical entries ;-)

Great choice guys! Perhaps this will make me make what was going to be my next diorama a little more advanced (if it works :shock: ). Looking forward to making my entry for this and looking forward to seeing all the other entries too :)

tar, the theme is only for the craftsman category... the other categories (terrain, painting, ...) are theme-free (well, theme LOTR though)...

Then maybe the site needs a little updating. If you Click "Competition Categories" on the left bar, it says that the latest category is "Fire."

But I just found out that somebody posted a "Haldir" entry in Master Craftsman. "Haldir giving orders to his Hobbit friends" to be exact. I don't want to start a snitting fight, but that's got nothing to do with Magic.

This was posted before the theme was changed. It would probably be good if someone notified the owner that they should find something else to enter...
