So, seeing how the Northwest of England is 'da bomb' when it comes to the tourney scene. I think it is times for us to find players in the SW.

Possible venues include Exeter (khaos games), Torquay and Plymouth and at a push some where in cornwall, somerset or dorset.

So, who's with me here?

I would gladly take charge for this project if it means I get to game more often.

Would gladly get involved in this. I'm in Cardiff most of the year but I alternate between here and Torquay and go to Exeter fairly regularly. I'm sure other tournament players would like a chance for a change of scenery. I agree that it does seem to be difficult to find a lot of players down in Devon though (probably due to low/old population).

I would be happy to attend tournaments in Somerset, Exeter and Cardiff. Both within 2 hours for me so it would be ideal 8)

@ Nikrandonia, from what you just said I gather you live in Bristol then.

In fact we could try to have a tourney here and there as far up as Bristol, I live 60 miles from Plymouth, 16 from Exeter and about 75 from Bristol, and Cardiff is getting a bit far.

I am happy to organise something but we need to establish a pool of players to start off.

Ps thanks guys for the swift replies :)

Bristol would be perfect for me. It's a lovely city too so I'm sure people would be interested in attending. I'm more than willing to help with some of the organisation too.

All locations close to Dover make it more interesting for Belgian players to attend. I'd be up for those.

My sister goes to uni in Bristol so could attend, only 2 hours from me.

So far it looks like the first venue will be Bristol, now need a call to arms for all the players from the southwest

Bristol sounds good. I am somewhere in Gloucestershire so only 1 hour for me, which is ideal. So who wants to organise something? 8)

I'm based in Plymouth and would be interested in something in any of the locations if this is still a possibility. It would be nice to get something going.

I'm closest to Exeter but I'm more than happy to go to plymouth as it's not far and fairly cheap travel for me, also if all goes well I should be living there next year too

Yeah? I don't mind coming to Exeter either, like you said it's easy to do. I know a few people playing down here and it looks like Exeter is the most central.

Potentially we could sort something. It would be nice to get a collective down here in the SW. The northern scene looks very active at the moment, so it would be good to have a little of that.

I would be up for a tournament in Exeter! In fact, I think there would there be plenty of people willing to attend it's whether someone will step up to organise it...

Does anyone that's on the GBHL facebook page know what happened to the proposed Cheltenham tournament?

It is in the process of being finalised around the november time. I spoke to one of the TO's not to long ago but unfortunetley they missed the cut off for making it a League counting event.
I haven't heard anything since though, if you're not on the FB page then get on it, it really is the best place for all UK tournament events.

I'll take a look. Exeter would be perfect. Maybe there's scope for a pre-tournament earlier.

I was hoping for a tournament around the Bristol area, Exeter is quite away to travel
