I did a zenithal prime on the mini of black to grey to white. I tried making my own glaze for the first time using 1:1 of Vallejo Off White and Glaze Medium, but it was definitely too thick and not very glaze-y. I was trying to preserve the warmth of the Off White by using GW Seraphim Sepia. When I retouched it I did some watered down Agrax Earthshade and then retouched the it with a more glazed version of Off White and then did some more highlights with GW Ceramite white. I don't think I have the white cloak method perfected yet, but I think I'm leaning toward this color scheme over the red/blue with gold armor as seen further above. |
