C&Cs appreciated, especially tips on flocking

A removable rockslide/scree that would impede the approach to either of the sloped sections so all the action could revolve around holding/capturing a bridge and then assaulting the only path to the top of the cliff. To make it fair, the defenders would have only 40-50% of the points cost of the attackers list value.

The waterfall looks good.

Now would be a good time to add some pea gravel sized river stone to the river bed. I like to use polished stones. Add them between layers of water. I am not sure what water product you are using. Thin layers work best. Don't add any kind of flocking material until the water medium is very dry. Be careful of the glue you use to attach the flocking. The water medium can cause the flocking to float if you add it between layers of water product. Some of the different products are very subject to capillary action. Test the water medium on something small if you try to embed static grass in the water.
I like to finish the water/river then flock to the edge when the water/river is dry. I already mentioned that the water medium will creep up the edge of the bank rather than lie flat.
Do you favor a brand of Flocking? I use most everything plus make my own.

Should the gravel be painted and if so is there a certain colour I should paint it, pics would be appreciated. I'll probably have no grass in the river as for brands on grass it's GWs and water it's woodland scenics.
