Hi all,
Only painted in the past for the love of the models and the painting process. But I have decided to put together a army for gaming at my local club.
Rohan is my choice.
I painted 4 of these when they first came out and loved them....and I have found loads of Riders in my garage + warriors on foot and a mounted Theodon!! I will pick up the Kingdoms of men book from GW to help with this project and any ideas/input from you guys would be great. I will post up pics as I proceed, cheers. :-D

As promised some WIP images, this guy is about 2/3rds complete. I need to highlighting the cloak, all of the bow, hair, shield oh yeah and all the horse. I do love them though.

Finished the first rider of the new army and started a foot warrior, not going to keep the warriors eyes the are not good, thanks all.

You can add Ogryn Flesh (or the newest equivalent) to his skin and black out the eyes. The highlights on the horse look amazing and extremely realistic.
I would recommend buying Grimbold and Erkenbrand as they greatly boost Rohan's militia and Riders' effectiveness.

I am enjoying looking at your progress. One of the advantages of Rohan is that they offer ample opportunities for one to hone his painting skills.
