I like the split horn on the base. Would make a good objective marker. |

That base is looking really nice. Great idea! I like the demon sculpt too. |

The diorama looks pretty nice so far, capturing an epic scene from the film! But for the painting of your golfimbul I would advise to pay a bit more attention to the details.. I don't want to criticise your work too hard, becuase everybody started at some point.. but for example i really have no idea why you used greens on the warg's fur? in general it looks really rushed, although you seem to have a lot of potential. |

Ty for the comments. @Rognarr: i think i might have mistaken the green in the warg for some sort of brown. Slightly colour blind - colour=trouble. I try to mix colours sometimes, because it looks better and i only have a select range of paints. The figure itself was not rushed. I notice black pieces on the mini, but they are barely visible in normal light. Flash kinda lights them up. They blend in well in real life. |

Very nice diorama, especially the base of the tree and Lurtz's face. What's the third base slot for? I see Lurtz, Dying Boromir and "blank". A great piece I must say however. I also like the strange occurrences of green, despite it not looking right, it adds coherence throughout your model collection as you use green a lot, and I like green. Good job |

All looking good, like the white hand on Lurtzs face, i read what you said about Boromirs face not photographing well, that happens to me alot, looks good in real life but not in a photo, i think its to do with light and some colours not showing up |

yeah i lose alot with the flash. It was really hard to get even a picture as clear as the one with gimli. Doesn't work well in bright day light. Witouth flash it's to dark. With flash it loses lots of colour and sometimes fuzzy images. |

Looking very nice Garmy! Well-placed, smooth looking highlights... looking very nice indeed. I especially like the way you've done the cloak |

Great diorama. I especially like the silver birch tree! Do you use a matte varnish? Testors Dullcote (bottle, not spray) is great stuff, and will take the sheen off your models. I assume it's there from ink washes, which can often dry shiny. |

It's a bought tree... but i did mess around a bit with the roots to make it put steady on the base. It's probably ink washes then. Because i only use matte varnish at the end, b4 basing everything up. So those were still freshly painted when i took the pictures. Now that i think about it, i barely take pictures of those who have been totally completed. |

Nice tree roots, you done well there. The artificial fern isn't working for me, it looks false, how about painting it. Also your models are very shiny, are you coating them with something or is it the flash ? I coat mine in Vallejo Matt varnish and it takes the shine away. |
