| Post subject: | New to WOTR, What to buy? |
I'm going to stop by my FLGS in a few days, and I plan on picking up a couple of WOTR products. I've got 35 dollars and I don't have any models yet. Army wise, I was leaning towards either dwarves or Angmar. I was thinking about getting Murin and Drar, mainly because they're good models and were just restocked in the US, though I like Buhrdur as well. I wasn't planning on getting any core models yet, because they'll probably stick around longer than the metal models. So, what do you think I should get? |

To start WOTR, I would check ebay. You will need lots and lots of troops, so better buy them cheap  . And 35 dollars for War of the ring is nothing. A decent army would cost at least a tenfold of 35 dollars. Why not start with SBG and buy some miniatures you like? And when you decide what you really like, start the beginning of a WOTR force. Yhat's what I would do.
