Check out this paint station by an Australian company...

Put's DurinsBane's to shame really. I will invest in one of these I think.

Jakers, when I first saw this I thought it would be much pricier than they actually are! It looks really great, although the one that holds the scissors and glues etc looks like it might not withstand too much abuse.

I'll definately think about investing in one of these!

wow, that looks really cool. I'd love to get a painting station like that but I'm not ready to pay for the shipping to the US.

very well thought over!

(a suitable suitcase would make it even better.
that's what I'd need...)

Very nice finding, and shipping to Europe isn't that big. Definetaly this one requires some serious consideration ;)

Puts mine to shame ?...what a load of [word deleted] !

Actually, to be honest, its quite impressive and great to see someone venturing into an item such as this. I especially like the combinations of 'shaping' that can be achieved to fit your work station or desk area.

The only downside I can see, is that there is no suitable holding area for 'Vallejo' paints, the hole is simply too big and needs to be 'snug' in my oppinion...which makes my Paint Station far SUPERIOR !!!

/me blows rasberry in Dagorlads direction and points out to stop trying to advertise Australian rubbish exports !

What a masterpiece !

Lol DB yours is indeed impressive. I do like the one that Daggy posted and for those of us that don't use the Vallejo range I think it is perfect and may very well order one for myself.

I particularly like the cutout section at the front so that the paint colour or name can be seen easily for GW paints. A very nice touch!

They do hold Vallejo paint tubes but not 'snugly' - the holes are obviously intended as one-size-fits-all rather than a customised 'I have 72 vallejo paints so need 72 holes of exactly the right size and woe-betide me if I should ever buy an extra vallejo paint tube' approach.

But Brian's is very neat, isn't it!

Keep them talking while I contact the men in white coats...

I just keep my paint in a box. No room for a paint-station. Almost no room for me!

I have to admit that i like DB`s better. It looks neater and you have the PC screen to use for a reference.Plus you have lots the paints, but one improvement i would make is to cut out a piece at the front like in the Dagorlad photo.Or you could do what i do,cut out a square piece of plain paper.Small enough to fit in the recess on the lid.Now paint a small solid dot about half the size of that paper. Then you can see what colour it is.If you know your colours then you would be able to pick out the right one for the job , without looking at the names.

Hope this helps

PS.What are those things at the top of your picture, the sword ect.

Hmmm... Knowing Brians errr... obssession for clean, neat ond organised areas, he probably has the paints sorted by some spooky method.

That other paintstation looks great though. I would never actually buy any paintstation, but looks really handy. I really need to make one for me...

Wow, That's actually exactly what I've been wanting. But alas, I've already started to make my own. Its still a great find though! :D

I notice DBs station is void of paint spills. I still wonder if he colours the figs in with felt tips ;)
