Thanks ![]() I'm really very happy with the result! I finally feel like I improved a little again ![]() So far it's finished... but I still wonder if I should add a few flocks of first snow or not... The fern is from Fredericus Rex paper plants... ![]() Also trying to improve my photographing, so I'm trying out different backgrounds... Might grab back to the common sky-blue background though, but now it's getting too dark outside to be able to get decent pics... Next on the table is probably a new babe and trying to finish Tyanta and base som of the earlier girls... No LOTR or other games workshop at the moment though (even heroquest got back into the box for now)... I'm still too mad at GW for rereleasing the command boxes with just one new unique fig forcing collectors to spend too much money again... ![]() |

I am not a beastman fan really but that is indubitably a beautifully sculpted, painted and based mini. Very well done Bart. Is the fern actually paper? I know some manufacturers do these and other plants, foliage etcetera in etched brass. |

Thanks Dorth ![]() It really is actual paper. I picked that one cause it's a little cheaper than the etched brass. They have plenty of different plants, but the size is rather large here, although it should fit the 30mm range, the plants are 1/35 scale... It's the first time I'm using them, but I do like the result a lot. I only glued a fine metal wire on the back of the plant stem to keep it in the bended position... |

Been working a bit last few days on several things... Spyglass - Inga Still work on the base to do... (base is a Scibor one) ![]() JMD - Orc Bust Only the sheep to finish (which you can't see in the picture I guess) ![]() Reaper (dark heaven legends) - Lauren Silversail, Pirate Elf One of my favourite girls I've painted so far... WIll add some more 'water' to create higher waves... I'm kinda proud of her, and pleased with how the base turned out. The wood and gold-bag are part of a square 25x25mm base from Micro Art Studios ![]() And these are now ready to start... A Reaper (chronoscope) "modern witch", Valiant Miniatures (magnificent egos) "Keirana, the huntress" and a Heresy 'minotaur'... ![]() |

I've got some more of those babes in my backlog and in some running orders ![]() Looking forward to feel brave enough to start some bigger girls: 3 lovely 54mm babes (Tales of War Red Riding Hood) and 2 Nocturna babes 'Freya' and 'Princes sof the Night' and a Girl with hoodie-bust from The Basement miniatures.. and then there's still a 72mm Sophie waiting for me... It's so nice to combine two passions ![]() |

Looking forward to those, the huntress model looks very nice - i looked it up. The cape is quite funny with the stiched faces. |

Pirates! Yarr! I might have to get Lauren Silversail for Dreadfleet, maybe as some kind of marker. Or some other excuse... ![]() Painting something bigger is really fun! I have almost finished one 54 mm miniature and one 90 mm. The 90 mm was really something, I had to re-learn pretty much everything I knew about painting, but the experience was worth it. -- Pasi |

And to kill two birds with one stone, why not try out some of the stunning Pirate babes from Black Scorpion Miniatures for their game Cutlass (Beasts of War did a great series of videos on the game and the minis last year). Take a look at these and there are many others on their site: http://www.blackscorpionminiatures.com/ ... cts_id=112 Babes - arrrrrrrrrrrrr! |

Just finished another Reaper girl, Gretchen Oktoberfest Fraulein... Many years ago Brian (DurinsBane) gave me that table-set (by Ebob miniatures) to add it to my hobbit-brewery... It now found a new place, aswell with a couple of those barrels (Ebob miniatures aswell) I bought back in the days... I love this one, although the pics aren't what I hoped for... ![]() |

Thanks! It's actually just one-compounds watereffect with a little bit of yellow ink (vallejo) mixed under. In the end, I also mixed a bit of white paint under the water-effect for the 'foam'... The dripping beer is a fine line of nylon wire (like fishing-line-wire)... also covered with a bit of water-effects and yellow ink. Here's another (better) view for the spilled beer... ![]() Btw, Dorth, those Pirate babes are indeed eye-candy! Black Scorpion has lots of nice minis! Some day I need to order some of them aswell! ![]() I once (long ago) painted a biker of them trying chrome-nnm for the first time ever... |

It may have sounded quiet on my side over the past few months... I've done some sculpting during the summermonths for a Hasslefree competition... There's no way I will get a prize, but I've learned some new stuff though... All started from the same female armature... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

And this is for now my main project in progress... It's scale is 1/20th... ![]() If all goes well, the 1/1-scale-project starts around spring-time 2013. Can't wait to start!!! This is supposed to be my largest scenery-project ever... (I hope). (the bad news is that is will take all my time which means not painting any figures (at least not much) for about a whole year... (the good news is, I'll have an entire attic to fill up with miniatures and landscapes and castles and realms and... too many dreams ![]() |
