We currently have a group of about 8 players that play quite frequently at the cafe/ gaming store 6's 2 Hit located at 20-22 Bread Street. If anyone in the area is looking to play or learn the game we can certainly arrange to do that. Our hope is that once we get about 10 players we can start having tournaments in this grand old city.

Hi, what kind of points levels do you normally play at? I don't even have any models yet but was thinking about starting a Gondor army. |

usually 500 is the standard but it can be anything between 350 and 1000 depending on how much time we have. |

It'll probably take me a couple of months to get everything collected and painted, but i'd definitely be up for arranging a game! I'll aim for a 500 point army for the moment. |

That sounds great buddy let me know how you get on. I wouldn't worry too much about having a fully painted army for now, as most of our players have a mixture of painted and unpainted figures in there armies. Personally I try to use only painted models as I find it more rewarding but nobody bothers about it either way in casual games.

Me too, it never feels right field unpainted models! I've already netted some Warriors of Minas Tirith, some Rangers and Damrod from ebay, an just waiting for the Kingdoms of Men sourcebook to come back into stock at GW. |

What armies do you guys play? I'm in the process of digging out and painting up my old isengard stuff. It's nice to see some LotR dudes in Edinburgh. I don't think they play it at ELG. |

I was all set to concentrate on a Gondor army, but I've become sidetracked by an Erebor/Dale list instead. I'm finishing off an Age of Sigmar army for a tournament next month, but hoping to get stuck in to the LotR/Hobbit stuff soon. Really looking forward to learning to play this game! |
