So my job of a delivery driver bumped me into only the king of Rohan himself. Bernard Hill (king Théoden) quite modest didn't want the attention - I didn't give him any (I remained professional).

As soon as I walked away I had a big grin on my face. Awesome day out of a naff job.

Might ask him nicely to sign my lotr boxset if there will be a next time.

i have had the pleasure of watching Bernard hill act first hand when i was doing some extra work for the BBCs Wolf hall. it was so great to see and was awesome since i have always loved the lord of the rings films!

I had a good long chat with Bernard a few years ago. He doesn't do autographs or pose for photos. Nice enough chap though with fond memories of his time in Middle-earth.
