Hi! I have been lurking here and there for a while and now decided to see if I can contribute something to this community. I started playing Lotr when it first came out, but then sold most of my minis when the local community lost interest in the game. Now I want to see if I can create something better than what I used to have :twisted:

My interest is mostly in painting, so I'll likely post something related to that. Then I'll see if i can get some people playing around here again.

So that's me, how are you people?

Welcome back to the hobby; you'll find this to be an exciting time, with new miniatures getting released, and resuscitating interest.
There are many excellent painters on the forums, so you'll be in good company.

And try to get your local community playing the game again; you'll find that personal initiative goes a long way!

Welcome! I find that sooner or later, everyone comes back to the game. It's too damn fun not to!

Yeah, the game is easy to learn, has depth and doesn't take too much time. The miniatures are some of the nicest there are and I don't need hundreds of them to play.
And I agree, it's fun!
