Hi there. I need some help regarding the scale creep that happened over the years. The plastic Numenoreans and riders/warriors of rohan look rather small next to the plastic rangers. The rangers are even bigger than Aragorn, Faramir and the armoured Boromir that I have. What i want to know is, are the plastic warriors and knights of Minas Tirith, and the plastic Knights of Dol Amroth closer to the Rangers or the warriors of Rohan? Also, does anyone know how the Perry Agincourt French and English plastic infantry sets compare to the smaller, earlier LotR plastics? Thanks. |

Thanks Mapper, that's all I really needed. The WoMT seems to be about the same size as the Rangers. No big problem with the Rohirrim being on the smaller side as the men of Gondor are taller than the other men. Looks like there will be no need to proxy anything other than Fiefdoms infantry as they are either OOP (foot knights) or i just don't like the official design at all (Axemen and Blackroot vale Archers). The Perry Agincourt or War of the Roses plastics with some greenstuff will work just fine for those. |
