Hello all, I've been on a quest to find all the lotr rare or OPP

I made a new list of Rare and Limited Edition minis

I found a gimli pose i never seen before and i realy love it :) (defenders of rohan)

The Warg rider is the The Warg Cheiftain that has been modded to have a rider. The ruffians are part of the Scouring of the Shire army and would be led by Sharky or Wormtongue. All the minis in this thread are metal, so no finecast. I have 5 Golfinbuls new in blister if you're looking to trade for one. All the others are still available on the GW website, so nothing really rare. There are lots of resources talking about rare minis. Also there are the members of this board that can pretty much identify the models and poses if you're looking for help. Myself, DMS and many others of the heavy collectors.

You should check out the topic "self made collectors guide". miniman has included a PDF link which gives you a list of all the miniatures GW has created so far for LoTR. Most of these minis you've shown are fairly common I think.

I've seen about three metal blisters of the Warriors of Arnor at my local Independent retailer if anyone is interested. Feel free to PM and we can discuss something...

Yeah Golfinbul is the only one on this list that I'd consider rare.

Plenty of very nice miniatures in the range; GW have done a great job on them mostly :)

lol i have that guide already, loooks like most of lotr are only rare for me lol

Games Workshop took my country from the list of deliveries already a long time ago and I tried a few weeks ago to order by a hobby shop nearby but nothing ... :roll: this toppic makes no sense then, should be "mini's that i've never seen" lol

IsleStaggerholm i have already the golfimbul, and with luck i will have clansman of lamedon + 6 warriors of arnor + arnor command + Angbor e Forlong

Those figures are from the Captured by Gondor boxed set which I don't think is available now. Just thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know.

Golfimbul as previously mentioned is another, the Mordor Uruk-Hai 4th pose, Lurtz (not the pose with sword), Kings of Men, some of the other hobbits and plenty more. Its a shame to see so many great figures go really.

I don't own any of these myself. They're worth picking up on ebay though if you spot them for a good price.

i have a blister with 3 uruk hai warriors with diferente poses, and they have the same armor as ur uruk hai with that two handed axe but i dont know if they are so rare...

yep its no longer available on the website. Not as rare as Lobelia though. There's one on ebay UK unpainted with ~4days to go on at £10.50 currently.

Out of interest did you pick it up 2nd hand or is there an online supplier that still has some?
