I don't know why, but I had never noticed this thread. I just spent a very enjoyable 30 minutes laug...looking at the pics. I was surprised to see that many of you are almost as old as I am. Now, not many pictures of me exist, but here is one I use as an avatar over on the Christian Gamers Forum 
and here is one of the best things I have helped produce, my daughter

im shocked that there are hardly any girls on RRO! schandalig!:O aanyways, thought i better post something to keep all your hopes up. if you go to the gym for 10 hours a week, and if your born with a natural beauty, u MIGHT look like this one day, with allot of luck..

OK, here's a recent pic of me (taken today). I went with my girlfriend to the Kosciuszko mould from which you can get a great view of Krakow (provided that the weather is fine, and today it felt more like spring than winter  ).

Let's bump this thread! These poor pictures are from our last gig in the Academy of Music in Mechelen. The acoustics were terrible, and we had lots of technical problems - which was quite funny since only three of us were playing (this is our basic set-up, all together we are with 7 players). Next to that, we could only use half the stage because of a pianoforte and lightning was a disaster as well. But the approx. 300 people liked the music a lot! 
Genre is Folk - Folkrock btw. And I drum. |

Well, first of all, my first hobby isn't LOTR - it's my bikes
I started off with mini moto racing 2 years ago and did that (2006 season, 2005 season). For those that don't know what mini moto's are, they're 50cc single cylinder bikes (2 strokes), with a seat height of around 15inches, and a top speed of around 45mph (tuned)  Btw, i'm not some nutcase who you see comonly riding on the road, race track only
Heres me 2 years ago in year 7, chuft as hell with my new "harley" look alike I've lost 2 stone since then, so the chubby legs are no more!
And heres my latest toy....(this is a google image - i'll upload one of me on it today or tomorrow, going to the track at 4pm today) 
Kawasaki KX80 (2 stroke, produces more power than a 4). These bikes are seriousy scary - it wheelies in every gear. 0-60 in 10 seconds, and on rouch ground it scares the !£$% out of you

A year and a half on this site and I just noticed this thread. I had a great time putting faces to names - people never look like you imagine them. So in the interest of being more a part of this community, here's a picture of me, taken today... 
...and with the 2 main reasons I'm so slow at finishing any miniatures: my sons Aidan (6) and Noah (1). 
And now for something completely different. My life-long best friend (who also plays LotR SBG, by the way) got a little creative with Photoshop. He made this as a little birthday gift about ten years ago. That's me on the right about a year after I got out of the Army (it took a while to lose that military 'look'). The original Star Trek series was always our favorite and we often joked around about which of us would have been issued a red shirt if we could be in Starfleet. He finally admitted I could wear gold as a promotion for having gotten out of the military in one piece.

Somehow I just knew someone was going to call me on the plush flamingo in the background! Too true - it does not belong to the boys. It belongs the woman in this photo, my wife of 20 years, Rina. Honestly, it's hers!
