Hey guys, Recently at Oz Comic con 2014 i had the extreme pleasure of meeting John Callen (Oin), Dean O'Gorman (Fili) and Stephen Hunter (Bombur). The experience of meeting these people is one that cannot be missed. I also had the pleasure of meeting Daniel Falconer, who was one of the weta designers. We had an awesome conversation about creativity and the creation of some of the costumes. Anyone else met anyone from the hobbit movies or lord of the rings? |

Met Orlando Bloom and Sean Bean. I've Sean on a few occasions, as well as some other great actors but they're not Hobbit related. |

My dad met Richard Taylor from WETA at the 2002 (I think) Oscars. He also met Bruce Hopkins (Gamling) at the Toronto premiere of Two Towers. He said that every time Gamling was on screen, Bruce would put a big smile on and give him the thumbs up! |

I met Bernard Hill during the filming of a Titanic documentary a couple of years ago. We spoke about his time in New Zealand off camera. It was an enjoyable experience.   The programme is available to watch on youtube now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1xkqaeLkGs |

I met Lawrence Makoare (Lurtz/Gothmog/Witch-King) years ago, when the RotK came out in the Netherlands. He went out for a smoke and I sneaked out with my dad to have a chat with him. I also brought a mounted Gothmog model and showed him. I was too young so my English was too poor to be really able to have a conversation with him, but it was really cool! |

Sean Astin was just added to the Boston Comic Con list. Samwise!!!, though not sure if he would like it if I brought up Encino man. But I grew up wishing to have adventures like the Goonies, and Rudy was a good film, so I think I would be stoked to see him and get some things signed. |
