I don't play the SBG but this is a great article, you have laid it out great and the pictures are brilliant and you have arranged them so the article looks superb!

Hope to see more articles from you soon GoL ;)

That's a very comprehensive review, with a lot of thought put into it. Well done!

I was particularly impressed by the section that outlines the new additions and changes to the previous book(s). That shows how much effort has gone into the article. Makes it much easier for us lazy types to see what's different. :)

I remember the article from another place, and it is a cracker. Well done.

Thanks all, and to Alan for uploading it (eventually  ).
Anyway, I'd just like to point out that there is a mistake in the article.

When I was talking about Aragorn's attack value when he charges, I accidentally put it the wrong way around.......what I meant to say was:

When charging on a horse/warg, the rider gets an extra attck and the number of attcks is doubled with that extra one. For example:

Aragorn has three attcks base. He charges a few Orcs, and his attack value goes to four. If he wins the fight, then the attack value of 4 is doubled.

Sorry if that confused a few people, and if anybody could change that, I'd be very much obliged.

Thanks!
GoL

The Changes section is great. GW really should have published it by themselves but luckily we have that information now.

What I would have liked to see was a comparison with its rival, the MoM set, as many people have been confused about which one to get. But then again, who would buy both? :)

Great to see what's different now! As Pasi said, GW should have done this months ago, as a small service for their customers!
Nice article mate! Very nice! Thanks for doing this!

That's fine, I enjoyed doing it!

Anyway, like I was saying, is it possible for anyone to change it? I mean, like what I posted above?

Yes, I'll edit it for you (and fix your spelling too  sheesh!) Thanks for pointing out the need for a correction, although the 'double attacks' thing needs a bit further explanation - i.e. Aragorn can't direct one attack against an enemy, and 7 against another. He must spread out his attacks in multiples of two.

Ok, done!

I was reading this article and noticed that the rule book is different to mine, some of the pictures are different and in the forces section they bother to tell you the different army lists and there is no hobby and modelling section. I'm not sure if mine was outdated or just shorter because I got it with the mines of moria set and on the back it has a picture of Boromir, Captain of the White tower with some WoMT and Rangers along with a banner bearer and captain of gondor. My friend has the same rule book and I was wondering if mine was out dated?

The Mines of Moria rulebook came out slightly later than the One Rulebook and is more up to date, plus they fixed up some errors. It didn't have the hobby section or all of the character profiles in it, but it is the most recent version of the rules.

nice job. 1 question though when you say a certain model has become more expensive do you mean how much it costs to buy or its points?
