Very nice article, Envinyatar. I myself am going to be embarking on a few projects using Hirst Arts blocks, so this article will prove very helpful to me. I hope to see more articles from you! 8)

Nice work. The building has an authentic feel.

It could be improved slightly.
I would want to make sure all pieces were interlocking. I mean that around the window section there are vertical lines across several layers of stone. You could fill the gaps on some of them to make it look even more realistic.

A good little article and an attractive piece - reminds me of the old Antenociti 'River City Ruins' which was also made from Hirst Arts components.

Thank you for this extremely helpful article!

Do you happen to know which Hirst Mold #'s you used? Because the kits you described are no longer available.

Thanks!

Thanks for the comments guys - I am surprised nobody remembered the article from TLA!

@ Natarn - this is an issue with the way some of the HA blocks are designed to fit together. I am not sure it would look more realistic to fill the gaps but I might have a go with a future building.

@ Kiezer - IIRC you would need the 6" Round tower mould to do most of the building. However, I also used a few pieces from the ruined tower mould, and the basic blocks mould.

Very nice article Envinyatar! Thanks a lot for sharing!
It must be great to have a big Osgilliath table! I think "modelwise" it's about the most interesting place of all to build (maybe that's cause I like ruins so much..)

Well done! Hope to see more from you! :D

Wow I feel ashamed--even after you mentioned the article being on TLA, I still don't remember it! :?

Wonderful work and I believe you achieved your objective of making this look easy to build and paint.

A very clearly thought out article.

A big thank you
