Well said Sean...it is a well written article and very cool to get an inside look into one of my favorite sculptors lives! :D
I never know you played football...WR is a difficult position, my specialty was pass rushing as a Defensive End, but sadly never at the college or professional levels.

Great article, Viruk and thanks to UKFB for giving us an insight into what makes him such a good sculptor.

A question for UKFB - have you ever considered sculpting firemen?

Congratulations Viruk on putting that together nicely. I like the way through your layout and editing you have made me sound quite interesting! Your questions were thought provoking and I enjoyed answering them. Thanks for taking an interest. :D

If I didn't know any better I'd say you had access to my own computer. I do indeed have plans underway to produce a range of 28mm British Firefighters, which I'm hoping to also peddle through my employers official merchandise dept. There are a lot of fire service memorabilia collectors out there who would like these I think if I can reach them. I am also working on a game to use them with too, which may not be everyones cup of tea but will definately go down well here at work.

If it is reasonably successful I will also be doing an American Firefighter version and WWII version.

This is of course still very much in the planning and development stages, so don't expect to see much on this in the immediate future.

Nice one Viruk, thanks for putting that together. An entertaining read and a top-notch choice for the subject - UKFB is a very talented sculptor and a great bloke too (pretty severe haircut mind you).

So who's your next interview going to be with? Could be an interesting series of articles!

A very nice article and a very interesting read, having met UKFB at Salute it is nice to see that he is doing well with the Majestic Bear product range. I am looking forward to seeing the mythological minis you have planned for the future.

I enjoyed reading this article. It is always interesting finding out more about One-Ring members - our backgrounds and lives are so diverse, yet we share this interest. I often feel really curious about who everyone is, what they look like and do in 'real life'.

Thanks for the article, Viruk, and thanks, ukfb.
I'm a fan of your sculpting work - so that made it especially interesting for me.

Cheers,
Natarn.

A very interesting article, giving an insight into one of our very talented member's lives.

I too am looking forward to seeing some of UKFB's mythological creatures as I am a great mythology fan.

My father will also be interested in seeing the firefighter models - he was a fireman whilst I was a kid - so I think there may be a market for them (and a game) outside of the FBU.
