Who is the ugliest?

I'm sure there are others but for me Cirion and Theodred take the cake.

^All orcs are uglier than the ugliest human. That's too easy, but Gothmog is the ugliest orc, true.

I voted Cirion, having painted him recently. :shock:

But I would also say that the Master of Rivendell Elrond also has a very ugly face.

No way! Cirion just requires a super careful paint job (not a slight to your painting skills, just an observation from when I painted cirion). His eyes are very tiny, it is best to not paint his eyes and just out a bit of wash in there to add some shadow. Also, he looks way better with a beard. Theodred is awful.

I'd say the first version of Samwise the Brave on pony is pretty awful, though if it was between Theodred and Cirion, I'd say poor old Theo loses the beauty contest.

The DoS Legolas looks appalling in the official pics. If the old ones were a spitting image of Orlando Bloom, this one is more Vladimir Putin!

Gothmog is ugly, but I think that's intentional and accurate, rather than a poor sculpt. He actually looks like the film version, really.

I'm surprised Last Alliance Elrond would get some heat because I thought he looked like Weaving. I have him primed but haven't painted him up yet, same with Gil-Galad. The Legolas above may not be Orlando, but what Hobbit miniature is like the actor? At least that face looks symmetrical.

The issue with LA Elrond I think is less the sculpt of the face but the fact that compared to the bdy/shoulders, the head itself is rather huge.

On the side note of resemblance, I actually thought the Thorin, Dwalin and Kili from EFGT were pretty spot on. The others less so, although Gandalf, Gloin and Dori are pretty close.
