Great looking Radagast. Like the shading on the cloak :)

Thanks guys.

I got pictures of my army of the dead taken. With the new warband rules I'll have to do some revisions to it to bring it in line with the new rules.

Great painting and scenery! I like how the ghosts are a similar colour to the grass - it makes them look more translucent! I also like your use of the spectre as a captain. Good work!

I've painted up 4 wizard models. Now the only one I'm missing is Palando. Any suggestions on what I should use for him? Any model within the GW sculpts I could use or is there an alternative company that is similar to the scale and aesthetics of the GW lotr stuff?

Well anywho, Enjoy!

I like what did with Sarumans cape. The line on his cloak is a nice addition. Keep up the good work.

I like what you've done with the wizards, and the freehand on Alatar's cloak is a nice addition.

Maybe Elrond, Master of Rivendell with a staff could work as Pallando?

Thanks guys I'm pretty proud of Alatar myself. I think Rivendell Elrond would be great, I guess I'm going to have to learn how to sculpt beards though. haha.

The Display board was actually built for a 40k army in 2008-2010ish somewhere in there.
I don't remember the exact flocks or static grasses used but with all my basing materials I generally use Woodland Scenics. I also generally mix things for a more natrual look. So probably like a wheat grass, dark grass, normal or green grass. All in 1/3's so it will create a really realistic landscape. So that is your best bet Drumstick.

Those are some very lovely istari.
Especially the Blue on Alatar's cloak is very rich.

The King (not Elvis)

I've had Aragorn the King painted up for a while now but it seems I forgot to post him.
I'm working on a stupid large warhammer fantasy zombie army that I hope to get done soon so I can get back onto my Lotr projects.

I haven't completed anything new in a while, but I have been working on my Gondor force. I converted 12 Osgilioth Veterans out of normal Minas Tirith troops. I green stuffed various cloacks and bed rolls and packs. I also had some extra Death Corps of Krieg laying around so I used their back packs to further distinguish my vets from my normal rank and files. The armored Faramir didn't have a shield so I switched his arm with an arm from a sword and board guy and pinned them.

I'm working on 5 character models that can be used with any Gondor force. I have 10 different poses of Aragorn. Instead of Painting them all the same, (brown and green) I decided I could make other characters out of them. So from left to right we have: The night watcher, a grey haired older gentleman with a torch to keep the city safe at night. The noblemen, Just a high ranking Gondorian citizen. Damrod, Denethor, and Farimir.
