Oh dear. That's why all my stuff is stored seven feet above the floor. I can give that broken Minas Tirith a new home if you like? :)

I'll drop you a line re. minas tirith once I replace it - i'd be panic stricken if there wasn't one there. This stuff is stacked pretty high too - they managed to get at my box of Mordor miniatures which is the top box in an eleven high stack of boxes.... amazing really, little swines

Gives the siege of minas tirith a whole new demension...,you should really put a lock on that door.

Gil-Galad looks wonderfull btw.
The old version was better than most of my miniatures, but the new one is just great.

Thanks aqan - the door is well and truly locked now - I'm almost finished painting 22 elves to go alongside Gil-galad :D

I've decided to start doing some commission work so if anyone is interested I've added a section to my blog where you can discuss what you would like painting, price and specifications etc or you can contact me by email at deadmarshspectre@sky.com

I have my first job and can't wait to start. thank you very much for getting the ball rolling and getting me up and running with this idea .. you know who you are 8)

It seems like ages since I've posted any pics on here - I've been pretty busy lately with half term and all. But Gil-galads Swordsman and Archers are done and I will post pics tonight hopefully. I will be getting on with the 4 ents as soon as I've finished messing about with these wretched elves.

Just wondering why they haven't showcased any of it. Most of the stuff they show is either cruddy 40K or weirdly (as in with ridiculously bright colors) painted Nazgul. Your stuff is so much better than anything they usually show.

Wow , Thank you very much! They must get millions of pictures sent in and there are some fantastic painters around. Who knows I might make onto their site one day, I never check it so I'm relying on you guys to give me a heads up if I do :) Thanks again Draugluin means a lot mate 8)

The brightly colourful Nazgul is a member of TLA if you didn't know. Sithious is quite the painter and converter.

Can't wait to see those elves, DMS! 8)

It's still a brightly colored Nazgul, which is just wrong in every sense.

I agree with Draugluin. Both about DMS you must get on the site, especially Glorfindel, the Watcher, Gulavhar and Lefty (and I agree that brightly coloured Nazgul look stupid no matter how well they're painted.

Nice work on that freehand! They look quite dark and somehow evil. Keep them coming!

Great work on those Elves - they look amazing 8) Not sure I like the Elves with two blades though, but that's more personal taste than anything

Keep up the good work

Your army is missing a high elf trumpeter :P

http://finiatures.blogspot.com/2010/12/high-elf-trumpeter-28mm-wip.html

Also, I hate to be a stickler, but I thought the cloak came over the shoulder, under the arm, around the back and then tied at the waist (i.e. the cloak and sash would be the same colour, being the same cloth.) Nice Scheme though. Red and Gold go very well together, and the freehand edging sparks it off nicely.
