After an eventful week I have managed to get the second of the four servitors done of the squad, went for a different colour on the body glove this time I think it works well to be honest.

The next two are more complicated as they are gun servitors and will have to be painted in three sub assemblies still should keep me busy while I am in my B&B at night after work.

Hope you like it guys.

Well it has been a while since I posted in here but that is the price to pay for working away from home all the time, I recently got asked to do a rush commission for Bob Olley of Ollies Armies. He has recently gotten back to sculpting and casting new figures for his scrunt ranges, so far I have finished two of eight part of a set of sixteen in total eight of which a good friend of mine is painting, so in effect we have half the range each to paint.
Him being a much faster painter than me has finished the whole eight he was given to do. So here are the first two and a WIP of two more that are in progress,

The bases are to be left simple, Bob wants them that way for photographing in his terrain set up. And here is a smaller shot fo two more that are not far off being finished.

I'll put more pics up as I get through them.

Cheers guys, nice to be back, I am just waiting for my new glasses to arrive and then I can get back into Lotr minis again, I am struggling to see fine detail again at the moment so had my mice's retested and I need stronger glasses, as for skin secret no real secret really I just use Elf Flesh as a base and then shade down using Dwarf Flesh and then again using Dwarf Flesh and Dark Flesh mixes, highlight Back up to elf Flesh with a little bleached bone to finish one thing i have started doing is using thinned Leviathan Purple wash to give a warmish tone to some of the shaded areas.

Well I actually started this some time ago and now I have finally got around to finishing it. The mini is absolutely crammed with detail so much so that I had a hard time picking it all out. Still I enjoyed every minute of it and am now delving through my cupboards to find other RBG stuff that I know I have.
Any way hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Btw going for an eye test tomorrow so hopefully a new set of stronger prescription glasses will help me see things better again.

Great work on the shield and leather. They are the bits that jump out at me.
