the skin looks awesome indeed! Great idea to keep him more briownish-beigish instead of the usual too-greenish (like I would do...)
Looking forward to see the batswarm :)

Finally finished Druzhags bat swarm - tried to go for something other than black for the wings but am as yet undecided if I'm going to keep this colour scheme. Please let me no what you think.

If you mean hard to glue to the base their easy enough - they have a flat bit on the bottom which glues nicely to the base just behind Druzhag - the worst thing about this miniature is just the size of the bats - specially when you paint it late at night and the only light is a 60 watt bulb.... I'm happier with the colour scheme after seeing it in the daylight.

Thanks for your comments.

The bats are excellent DMS, probably my favourite part of your paintjob actually. The eyes are great, good job.

Great paintjob! The bats fit nicely with the model, now just a dark flesh-like coloured base.

Ps: Must be a hell to play with a miniature of that size, especially in metal!

My converted Numenorian banner.... took a while digging this out to photograph, it was varnished and boxed up, haven't seen it for about 3 years.

Will get round to converting some mounted Numenorians.
One thing I might change on this miniature is the gold balls on the top and ends of the banner they look kinda too big .....hmmm

I reckon the gold parts on the top of the banner are too small also. Great job converting it I just think the banner itself is too big, it looks difficult for a man to carry. Still, nice work with the freehand on the banner, very nice work indeed.

Yeh he must be a strong guy to carry that thing one handed - think i will change the gold balls on the top one day and make future banners smaller.

I agree with that - big banner (even for 2 hands it's to big) - but very nice painting

Trimming the pole at each side to where the flag stops could also help, I personally think the extra distance it stretches is unnecessary.

I think it looks great and with the modifications suggested above, even better. Any more pics of your Numenoreans?
