No matter how well painted, 40k modekls always look AWFUL and do not belong in a LOTR WIP. I have nothing agiants your or your painting skils, but aaaaaaarrrrgghhh, that is awful. I hate 40k. Rant and 'scream' over. |

It could use more highlights on the bike but it looks great so far.  I still prefer Dark Angels.  Can't wait for the LotR stuff!

The Ultra Smurf Hells Angel wannabee (I hate Smurfs  ) looks like an early WIP as it needs more highlights and/or shades. But I can say this - the basecoat work looksvery neat.

Thats pretty neat, I like the painting, but it is a little spoiled by the mold line running across the top of his helmet, also the line on the front wheel guard where the two parts of the bike meet. |

Its fine to post stuff other that LOTR minis in the forum, there are absolutelly no rules against it, and it is encouraged. But, please keep this WIP thread LOTR specific. Any other stuff can be posted either in Warhammer or 40k topics, for instance, or simply in Non-LOTR Talent Showcase. So, I'm moving this topic there... As for the minis, they look good and the paintjob is neat, perhaps a bit flat. Really depends what you are looking for. Gaming minis usually dont need to be uber-awesome looking. I'd suggest that you take the time to clean any mould lines and hide the gaps. Makes all the difference in the end. Also, if you have a spare mini, try watering down your paints a bit more. It will take more time to cover, but the result pays of. Keep it up mate! |

Actually, there is a NON LOTR section with a lot of stuff like this mini here.....so what is that section for? NON lotr. that means this doesnt belongs here...just saying  but if you think that it is ok to post that here "just because there is no rule, even with a NON lotr section"
