I didn't finish my sculpt for this month so instead I'll paint up these converted orcs. They were already converted so they can't be used in the converting/ sculpting challenge. Some of these poses were inspired by Sithious over on TLA.

Proof picture:

Some awesome entries already! It's going to be an epic challenge.

Sithious is everywhere!!!
Glad to inspire anti cloning. They look great, and I am still converting orcs and hope I always will be.

Well I finished 3/4 of them. The last one needed more greenstuff work that I was willing to do this month. Here are the final proof pics. Sorry for the poor quality photos and if I have broken any picture posting etiquette, this is my first time after all.

Cheers!

Awesome Bill, you have fantastic style to your painting so it will be great to see that variety of orcs you chose with your skill applied.

My attempts to take part to Hobby challenges have been most unfortunate. This time we had small accident and lens i use to photograph miniatures broke... Cant get replacement yet so i just had to take couple quick pictures with my smartphone. No surrender!

For this months hobby challenge i painted up some Black Numenorean and Mouth of Sauron himself. Better pictures will follow in my wip thread later on :)

Just remembered this a few hours ago, have been painting hastily since. Paintjob is finished, base currently drying in the sun. Entry in under 12 hours? Why not!

The last day of the contest is always the best day. Most of the great painters finally stop working on 25 projects and post the pictures they took two weeks ago to jaw dropping effect of us working class part time hobbyists. :-D

Still waiting to see if MMS Troll will drop (which I would vote for even if it was not in this contest) or if DMS will magic something up in the last hour before locking the thread.

Looks like you were right! Those Morgul Knights are fantastic!

It's going to be a close one this month!

Finally finished a few minutes ago! Been very frustrating as i had to finish before the sun goes down and did not finish the bases yet to 100% as i wanted to.
And to add my bad luck i have to take pictures with smartphone and the highlights on black parts are not very visible ...

Anyway, ''Fierce bearded men with axes''! or else ''easterling tribesmen''

Another cracking month, that's for sure.

Here my finished (yay!) entry, quickest one since the sculpted hedgehog for the conversion challenge a while back. At this rate, I would be able to clear my backlog in a few weeks! (Well, no, it'd likely still be a good few months...)

For the keen eyed among you: yes, that is The Palantir #21 in the other tab. 8)

And the finished beauty. 'Skully', Morannon Orc captain
