I voted for the Goblin King as I wanted an excuse to paint the FC version I have.

But now I am hoping for the Warband to win, my plan is the Men of Dale with the FC Captain.

Don't know about anyone else but i can't wait! 8)

Models can be primed before entering them in the competition.

I have just realised that I still have not painted the full Fellowship after somewhat obsessively collecting and painting since the week the range was launched in 2001! I painted Aragorn and Frodo within a week, but I still need to finish a Fellowship version of Merry, Pippin or Sam. I do however have the Merry and Pippin arrayed in armour for the pelennor fields, Sam in orc armour and even a paralyse hobbit finished, but somehow I have let them slip through the net. Probably because in the past my gaming group favoured straight forward points based battles, and no one on their right mind would choose the Felllowship versions of the three Hobbits.

Confusing yes, but the norm has been to allow undercoated models, so it is fine to enter them as long as you haven't done anything else. Read it as unprimed (no paint at all) and undercoated are permitted (nothing more) unless you are repainting an old miniature, in which case you need to have a proof picture of its original paint scheme.

Welcome to the One Ring Eomund. Good to see you jumping straight into the competition. 4 Riders of Rohan and Merry will be fine. Good luck buddy.

I voted warband.

I'm keen to get some more Orcs painted up to increase the horde, I'll probably have a Ringwraith leading.

What are the rules?
I guess it has to be finished by December?
Do I post all the pictures in this forum?

Yeah, should be finished by Nov 30th.

When DMS is ready, a new topic will go up for the november paint comp, stating what the theme is, as well as all of the rules, etc, same as you see here for the previous month's: viewtopic.php?f=96&t=26531

You'll need to post a proof picture in that thread (i.e. a picture of your models not painted yet), usually people take the picture infront of a computer screen displaying the competition thread, but I don't think that is actually required.

You can then post your finished miniatures picture(s) in that thread too, whenever you finish them, can post WIPs too, but maybe thats better saved for your own forum WIP thread :)

Thanks for answering that Crixalis and sorry Pokyha I didn't see you had asked a question.

I'll get the November thread up 2moro night so you can all get cracking on your warbands.
