The purpose of this poll is to determine which of the above evil characters will be the painting challenge for the month of May. The poll will run until 18:13PM on April 29th GMT+1, leaving everyone with a very short amount of time to go out and get the materials they might need participate next month.

Please note - the winning choice is not what you must paint next month, only what is preferred, you are still more than welcome to paint something else similar if you haven't got the correct miniature (for example, if Amdur is chosen and you don't have an Amdur miniature in time, you're permitted to paint up something similar for the challenge instead - for example, an Easterling Captain).

Hm, the only one I have is Saruman, and I'm very happy with him. What to choose?

EDIT: Went with Durburz as when he wins, I might use my converted Gobbo captain as a substitute.

Hmmm... I have Durburz and Shagrat to repaint, will probably choose Shagrat in the end as he fits with my Mordor army... we will see...

I can do either a Hasharin or Saruman. If anything else wins I'll have to use an alternative model.

I've already painted Durbûrz, so I’ll probably paint Grôblog instead if Durbûrz wins.

I voted Hasharin because I am going to get and paint one as soon as I finish Legolas.

However, Hasharin is not available at the moment through GW, so we may not see many actual GW Hasharin entries if it wins.

Just bought a Dragon Knight on horse, soI voted for Amdur. Fortunately Easterings are easy enough to paint that even mine look pretty good.

I voted for Durburz. I've already painted him, so I'd do Druzhag instead.

I've never painted an easterling so Amdur is my choice.

I only have Durburz and Saruman who are both painted. It depends what the other allowances would be for the other models. However I went with Hasharin, simply because it might motivate me to convert :P

Looking to take a break from painting, so since Amdur is the only model I do not have and I rather save the others for a later challenge, I vote for Amdur all the way!

What are the other paintable figures for Saruman and Hasharin if we don't have them?

I voted for Hasharin as that is the only one I have got (and Saruman would be boring I reckon) and I haven't painted anything in ages. Go Hashy! Go!!

And after a last minute switch from saruman to hasharin, I have swayed the count! :D
I just won a hasharin off ebay, I really hope I can get him in time and paint him up....

Hasharin alternatives: Watcher of Karna or a Haradrim Warrior/Captain/Chieftain.
