Which of the alternative categories for the Painting Challenge would you prefer for the month of September?

Finecast models only by General Elessar
Command units only by BilboOfTheWhiteTower
Monsters only by Hilbert

I agree with you, ivote for monsters only. (unless you could combine them with heroes)

What, no love for siege machines? Not that it matters to me because I'd rather do Command or a Monster.

I chose the monster only since I have an Isengard troll to paint. Well, put together, too. :lol:
I plan on magnetizing the arms, weapons and shield so they can have diversity and options. Probably irrelevant info. :oops:

I was really torn on this one. I have a billion (maybe a little less) Rohan I am trying to get busy on so I was tempted by Command, but I also have some Ents, Spider Queens and Trolls waiting to join my ranks. I really need a catalyst to take on one of these Monsters so that's where I threw my vote. Just not sure which of the above it will be.

We can let this vote run for a couple of weeks as Hilbert has set and whichever is the winner, we can do for September. October will then resume our usual challenges.

I think this will make a nice break from our usual challenges so I think we'll do a special challenge every few months.

Also thanks to all who've suggested their ideas.

I voted monster as I need to paint a couple of half trolls sometime in the next decade.

Of course here is the list for what counts as monster:Gwaihir, Giant eagle, Treebeard, Ent, Buhrdur, Mordor troll cheiftain, Mordor troll, Isengard troll, Cave troll, Half troll, Shelob, Spider queen, Giant spider, Gulvahar,Shade,Dragon, Cave drake, Fell-beast,Balrog,Sauron

I have a cave troll and today I will get one color that I miss to paint it...Althought I could leave it for Septemeber but I can't wait... :-D

Well according to the SBG rules and the Games Workshop website he is classed as a monster. Based on this I think it should be included. :-D

I personally would count the Balrog as a monster. Afterall it does say in his profile he is a monster even if it does say he is a spirit, doesn't stop him being a monster.
