Can a spellcaster in a formation that has performed a heroic move or epic journey cast spells after the move? We've always played that 'can't shoot' applies to spellcasters but would like this cleared up. Thanks

Spell casting is not shooting and doesn't have the same restrictions applied. You cast your spells in your movement phase. I would have to read again to see if there is anything specific in Epic Journey that prevents spell casting but I don't recall any such restrictions.

As what Beowulf said. I'm not sure what you mean by after (end of his movement or somewhere in the middle of the phase) so I'll just throw out a simple little fact.

Once you start moving a different formation or declare it the end of your Movement Phase/Heroic Move, it ends the last formations move (and the chance of casting spells).

Thanks, that's what I thought. We just had a game decided on this, unfortunatlely we went the 'can't shoot can't cast' way and Gandalf met a nasty end. Oops
