Just a little design competition to keep you all busy...

I am sick of my avatar and want something shiny and new to cheer me up.

I am offering a blister pack of LOTR minis for whomsoever shall design the best avatar for me.

The size limitations are as follows: maximum 200 pixels wide by 180 pixels high, and be sure to spell my username correctly. The theme must be suitable for this site of course, but I won't put any restrictions on it beyond that.

The comp closes when I see an avatar I truly like.

maybe you can shuffle the other messages/sketches from the avatar section over (or vice versa) to have them all in one thread Alan?

(I realized that thousands little questions about taste/wishes/expectations should be asked first... do you want rather landscape/natural or fight/action/battle elements. vivid colours, large or small letters, sindarin? a portrait of yourself woven into it, ...)

nevertheless here a more quiet attempt in progress...:

@Beate, I can't easily merge those threads with this one I'm afraid. It would take some tricky surgery in the database to do that sort of thing.

I don't really want to influence people's creativity by writing exactly what I want in an avatar. I want people to surprise me with their own ideas and come up with concepts that maybe I wouldn't have thought of myself.

LOTR-themed would be a preference, but it doesn't have to be. But no offensive or controversial images please.
