Just wanted to put in one place.

Warhammer TV on YouTube has videos to watch for those who bought these.

Thanks for posting those. Since MESBG is the only GW game I follow, I haven't subscribed to to Warhammer TV, so notifications here are the only way I'd know about them.

Thanks, I find it handy for myself also to consolidate findings so I don't lose track of them.

Also, if you google "Ray Dranfield twitter" or if you are on twitter, you get some pictures showing the modularity of the set by the person who designed the model. Ray Dranfield is a Games Workshop Scenery Designer.

Handy videos. I've built my first house as a very basic one but will almost certainly be returning to these to expand on my town.

These are all great resources. Thanks for compiling them, Mapper! Really nice to see more GW support for MESBG. It helps legitimize the game when GW treats it in this way (at least in the eyes of more casual fans which hopefully helps bring them in!).

Updated with White Dwarf info. The painting in WD is different than what is in the War in Rohan book, more brown than grey.

I wish that GW would support MESBG more in their stores, it is a nice scenery set but when you go into a Games Workshop store (at least the two I went into recently), they don't even have this set on the wall with their other scenery. The only MESBG I saw was the Pelennor Fields boxset. In the display cabinets was one poorly scene using the Osgiliath and in the other store was some figures from the Pelennor set primed and waiting to be painted. Not exactly eye catching in either case.
