A couple of shots of a scratch built cornfield that I made.
Maybe for a Rohan village or even Farmer Maggot.

The stalks are by JJT a model RR company. everything else is scratch built by me.

Very well done.

Nice that you kept the cornfield small - more appropriate for a single house or Rohan village. I always have the urge to go big and have to remind myself to scale it appropriately.

Did you do anything to the cornstalks or just use them as they are?

Mapper I just used them from the package. I think the trick is to use the dark soil over the basic dirt color, to define the stalk rows and show contrast. I actually thought of that on my own and I think that it really works.

I purposely didn't make even rows. I wanted it to look rural, not perfect.
Like a real farmer, with a small plot to plant, would do.

If you look on my Photobucket page you'll see more pictures of this cornfield with AWI figures. Better pix, there.
