So I was looking through the old Lotr magazine series and found an article on how to build a corsair ship. Now this seems like a PERFECT display board for my corsair army.


My question is has anyone else attempted to make one, and how did it go?

There's actually a beautifully done one by someone on the OR but I can't remember who.

You can probably find more. Go to search
(above next to chat box and FAQ) and enter ship, ships, boat, craft etc... into the search criteria and then click on "search for any of the terms" and you will be able to search through the pages. I found this on the second page of that but actually saw a reply talking about it and clicked on that and found the forum post with the ship. So, for future reference, you can use the tools for anything you may be looking for.
Then search google and look at images and find even more inspiration.

It was the first scratchbuilt ship I did, and I went off the rough guide in BgiME....

It turned out OK in the end, though If I were to do it again I'd try and make it longer and thinner I think...
