Hey,
I have a Canon power shot A520, 4.0 mega pixels camera. I'm a novice at cameras and I was just wondering if this type of camera was any good for taking pictures of my minis. If it is, what are the best settings for it?

I can never really "focus" my pictures, the mini doesn't really look like its part of picture, if you know what I mean.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

first of all check makro distance.

Open user's manual and check from what distance makro gives shapr photos. If you'll place camera closer all will be blury

Yup use the macro setting within its focal range, but you also must use a tripod and timer so you don't get any shake.

Yeah, I have a tripod and a timer, I'll check what the macro settings are. Thanks for the advice :)

Here - read all the blurb on the camera from the best digital photography site on the web:

Good luck!

Thanks for the link, I'll take a look.

P.S. I was just taking a look at the link and it said it had a 5cm macro mode (Wide), 30cm(tele).
I hope that answers the earlier question.

If it does, then is it a good thing?

Sorry about the doulbe post here...
As you've probably noticed, I've posted a picture of my Khand King in my personal gallery.
I believe this is one of my better photographs and I just wanted to know what ya'll thought.

Also I have another question...What is exposure?
I've heard of setting the camera's exposure, but I'm not sure what it is.
Thanks in advance.
