I managed to pick up a copy of last week's issue from my friendly local GW shop today. The manager had taken delivery of the lastest issue but had kept a few copies back behind the counter for late comers like myself. Here is a brief summary of what is inside that may be of interest to One Ringers (not including WH and WH40K)...

Product Review of new tool set - (5 1/2 pages)
Battle Report - An Unexpected Journey (4)
Figure Prep Article (4)
Painting Tips Article (2)
The Hobbit Trivia Articles (approx 2/3 page)
Staff Armies Display Page (1)
Back page quality photo of Azog and wargs (1)

~19/36 pages of The Hobbit/hobby article goodness. Not quite as good value as #8 but the 15-20 mins of reading time means it was a justified £2.40 IMHO. Anyway, the more of us who buy The Hobbit related issues, the more the sales will spike and hopefully GW will see The Hobbit SBG as a viable 3rd system to support further in the near future at least, and we may get more articles that suit us.

"We here at Games Workshop positively think we have done a marvelous job with these new hobby equipment".

I see a hole in reviewing yourself I think.
