All of one's painting... so useless and worthless unless one can play on such beautiful and elaborate to the last detail terrain. Unbelievable work. |

The BAZ00KA and I sat staring at the Deeping Wall explosion for a few minutes in stunned silence.... that is ingenious, wonderful and just fantastic workmanship. If I ever revisit the Deeping Wall again, I shall shamelessly try to mimic that idea. Very very well done! |

Wow Amazing what effect some cotton wool and a light bulb can create. |

Nice progress. I am always inspired by your projects. I saw that you have the new WS casting bowl. I have not used mine yet. I recently purchased a dental plaster vibrator. While not normally necessary I found it very useful for small detail parts like cups, bottles and the Dwarf rune blocks. I would not be able to make some of the custom parts with out it. I am looking forward to your next post |

Hi OMW - yeah, the new WS bowl is a vast improvement over my rectangular bread loaf bowls I've been using before. I got it from a model railroad store in Colorado Springs during my summer trip to the US. I also got two rolls of Woodland Scenics' new Shaper Sheet, which I will try out for the rocks in the ramp terrain piece (and, if successful, elsewhere around Helm's Deep, too). |

I have not used the shaper sheet. I am looking forward to seeing it used. I am inspired to try the WS bowl this afternoon. |

This is just ridiculously good. If I ever build a Helms deep I will want to see some of these for examples and by then who knows if the pictures will still be up somewhere. When you complete all this work it would be great if you put together pdf files so people can download them with your WIP shots and Final shots as it would be a great resource for LOTR fans. |
