Also, I hate to be a stickler, but I thought the cloak came over the shoulder, under the arm, around the back and then tied at the waist (i.e. the cloak and sash would be the same colour, being the same cloth.) Nice Scheme though. Red and Gold go very well together, and the freehand edging sparks it off nicely.

One more on your list ... I need 3 of them lol

I like the colour scheme and the basing (especially the flowers), good job. But, some of them seem to be missing their pupils, where's the little black dot?

Excellent Elves.

The richly patterned and vibrant red cloaks remind m of the Elven Queen Islanzadi from Inheritance Cylce who slaughtered evil Men of the Empire by the score, dressed in similar attire.

Mate I don't even paint eyes on my warriors let alone details lol, but I think it would definitely be worth painting it on the heroes, I'll give it a try thanks

Give it a go - paint your basecoat colour on first then do your freehand then highlight round the freehand - means if you make any mistakes with the freehand you can clean them up easily with your basecoat. 8)

Those elves are really lovely. What paints did you use for the red?

scorched brown and scab red equal parts basecoat - add blazing orange and blood red to original basecoat mix with lots of water so the paint is really thin. Once highlighted add blood red again to the mix for the final highlight.
