I don't think I'll sleep well tonight! That or I'll have nightmares!
What a hideous beasty.
Nice work. 8) The silicone splashes are a brilliant idea. :-D

Wow, you've taken my first ever full sculpt (which I believe today to be fairly mediocre) and made it look very impressive. The colours are so realistically fleshy and slimy. The water effects came out even better than I had imagined (But I agree, you do need some bigger tentacles).
I'll be doing some more work on your next project tonight. It is coming along very nicely.

I much prefer this sculpt to what Games Workshop released. And what an excellent paint job with stunning water effects! :)

I think this calls for an O-M-G... OMG! Very impressive work DMS, especially the resin and the cocktail sticks! Very innovative, hope you are feeling better

The ents are on the back burner for a while - I'm repainting my entire elf collection starting with Gil-galad and his army - there something I painted a long time ago and am now not happy with the standard I know I can do better :) Will get to the ents soon.

I can see hose darned swirlies every time I close my eyes - Every member of Gil-galads army has them on their cloak and I'm 95 % of the way through a captain and 13 swordsman :o

Did you strip him or just paint over the older paint?

I've been stripping all the ebay purchases I've made, because I don't want anyone else's paint jobs. I just use simple green, soak for 2 days and a little brush under water and its terrific! Would not work so well for selective stripping.

I don't like this model (the face isn't of the same quality of the rest of the range) but your choice of colours and freehand work are excellent and give the model a lot of character.

Thanks a lot guys :)

@Islestaggerholm - selective stripping is a pain and I hope I never have to do it again. I reckon I have another 100 elves to repaint before I can move forward with the collection. Its something I have to do tho I'm losing sleep over it lol
