Hi guys,

here's my WIP Easterling totem. A dead mumified king on a snake throne.

Do you have ideas how I could get it more "glamorous"?

ooo this is different, it looks quite good. hmm, to make it more glamorous you could maybe add gold scattered around his chair, with blessings and gifts, even some goblets of fire maybe? Some banners, but with a twist to show it's the Kings Banner. Pillars can always make things look grander etc.. just some idea's

I was about to say the exact same thing.

Gold and offerings would be fantastic. Banners too.

It may be a little late, but an entirely tiled floor would look more dignified. Of course, if you went this route, it wouldn't blend into the rest of your board, unless you made the base larger.

I agree with others ideas:
Treasure (you can get "treasure piles" from those making supplies to dungeon games etc)
Pillars and banners - add size and movement.

Put the guy on a stone altar/pedestal, so that it looks like the easterlings worship him.

Use this for the treasure: http://terragenesis.co.uk/infopages/page443.html

Make a big banner that stands behind the king, and make it a vertically hanging one instead of a flag-type of banner; then have two smaller flags on each side.

It's very cool, by the way. :)
