I would use the missing items of your Mumak as an opportunity to give some battle damage to it. Get the green stuff out and start playing.

Thank's guys, yep that was the intention Grey. I've sprayed my knights and started painting away at them. Some armor and cloth has been done, but still very early stages.

How about using Legolas for the Mumak and creating the scene where he sticks three arrows in it's swede. That way any missing parts of the Howdah won't be important.

Well after a much needed rest from the hobby I've returned and had the urge to get painting again. I got my paint brushes out and finished over two boxes of Gondor. Sorry I've no WIP pictures because it didn't have the camera around with me. I'll hopefully get back to some more building and will continue on with the painting. There's about 150 men and I still have plenty more to paint.

This is what my Gondor army looks like so far.. ...

@Cyndra the Gray I do believe it is the base for his (ruined) cathedral project. Not 100% sure though 8)

Thanks folks for the kind comments. :)

I just recently bought some second hand figures off a friend for a good price. I'm sorry the pictures are completely hopeless and didn't turn out very well. Quite a few of the figures need some tender loving care, but it's certainly a lot cheaper than buying them from GW with their recent prices. This will certainly have me busy painting! These are all metal figures.

That's a lot of metal! Amazing work!

Quick question: What do you use as crew for the Trebuchet?

hehe yep. Well for the trebuchet when I'm not using the crew for the bolt thrower I just use them. Otherwise I need to get working on some conversions for the loading crew.

P.S. I believe I haven't met you yet, must be new? A warm welcome to the One-Ring! :D

Fantastic Gondor army! Looks great. Love seeing all those pictures. Looks like you picked up a big batch of metals too. Hope to see those painted up soon :)

Nice haul you've got there, how much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking?
Good luck with painting it all 8)
