I'd be very happy with 1,4 and 5.
1 reminds me of Gandalf for some reason.

Hey Sid!
They look good so far. But maybe you could try to make them look a little more braided? I mean most dwarves of Thorin's company are of noble blood and I doubt they would their beards grow like the wild men of Dunland! :D

For inspiration you could have a look at the Hobbit Chronicles: Art & Design book maybe. I have it at home and love many of the alternative beard concepts especially for Thorin and Balin.

Nice beard practice, im growing one wizard of a beard atm lol. My faves are 1 and 4 because i can see their mouths.

Wow! Wow, wow and wow again! Incredible work on the face Sid, absolutely stunning! I really like the green cloth as well, makes him stand out a lot more. Unlike the film and GW's version, where Ori can at times be quite unnoticeable... :P

Hi Sid,

realli like your Ori! The face is especially well painted and really looks like the guy in the movie ;) I also like the clothes very much...the litte and very fine detail on his coat are great! I would only suggest to add a little brigther highlight to the beard and the hair...at the moment it looks kinda flat.

Very nice paintjob in general!

I did try GW's scheme at first (for the article) but it looked kinda wierd so just painted him up in green. :) :-D

yeah the hair is a tad flat... I think the varnish dulled it down a bit =/
