The balrog is knocked prone by seige engines and sorc blast?! What a joke! Is there an errata for the balrog's speed? 6 inches seems too little for a huge guy like the balrog.

things like that happen from time to time accept it and just keep playing. and use the balrog only when your opponent wouldn't expect you to use it

This was the first time i have ever used the balrog. Both me and my opponent were surprised by his ineptidude. Seriously though, has the balrog's speed ever been adjusted. 6" is *really* slow for a guy whose base is 3"

no his speed has never been adjusted and i see it fine as it is hes meant to be able to kill or hurl melee troops to do his damage and he is also meant for large games

Its a matter of physics. The creature is well over 10' tall which means his legs are at least 5' in length. Despite this, he only has an average human pace of 6'? Assuming 1" is roughly equivalent to 1'. Then again, I error in my thinking that LOTR would mimic the physics of the real world.

I smell a new house rule.

Balrogs can be quite good in lords of battle, just kill loads of heroes and watch as his might store grows

That would be cool, but it still doesnt help his 6" movement.

Jdizzy check my post in your bat rep if you havent. In addition to my idea of making him 350 points, with 3 might and a special rule, he should have 8 speed. Thats fair. Same as Beorn.
