A question popped into my head when I was building a 500 pts force. When I have exactly 50 models and one of the is the Spider Queen, with her Broodlings the army total would be 53, so is this right or should I always build armies around 47 with her, so there would be room for her kids?

As far as I know the Broodlings do not count towards the limit, correct on this if i'm wrong as i don't have the sourcebook, but i thinks its because they are not present at the start of the game.

they don't count towards the limit. they are special ability of the spider queen.

Yeah, it dosen't say anything about them counting towards the limit in her rules.

Hmm wierd, I thought that they were a separate troop in all respect, but if that is not the case, ah well , that solves the problem :rofl:

They're not a separate troop. I don't have my book right here with me, but they're "summoned" in a spell using the Spider Queen's Will points. I remember because, when I first read it, I thought it might mean GW was taking the game in a different, very cheesy direction.
