I’m just getting back into the game (SBG) and was refreshing my self on magic and maby I was reading wrong or my friends and I have been playing wrong for a while. Can magic be done while your opponent is on his movement turn? Because in the rules it says that the character can use one power in any turn.

The second part I hope some one can help me. I forget can you toss a dice for a spell and if it did not go off can you use another will point to toss another dice to score a success? Or is it what you throw is what you get save for the might points.

Any help would be great thanks.

For the first part, magic spells are casted during the controlling players move phase. The caster can do this before he moves, after he moves, or can move-cast-move. The caster cannot cast spells during an opponents move phase.

For the second part, the amount of dice/will desired to cast a spell must be declaired before the dice roll. You cannot throw one dice, fail, then decide to throw another dice.
