Two models that were given rules in white dwarf do not have weapons statted under their wargear section.

Dwarf Shieldbearer
Son of Eorl

Do these two models come with hand weapons?

All models are assumed to have hand weapons unless it specifically says they are unarmed (see page 42 of the rulebook). Although it does seem odd not to mention it.

That is not always true. High elf warriros come equiped with nothing but when you buy them from GW they come equiped with gear you have to spend points on.
