Can a prone infantry model still defend, and thus claim the defensive advantages when defending an obstacle?

My gut reaction was no. He's either cowering on the ground or has just been knocked prone and is lying 'stunned' on the ground, so would not be in a position to defend the obstacle...

But its not explicit in the rules, one way or the other...

Thoughts?

No a prone model may not defend a barrier as a prone model has no control zone
